If you have a backpack type unit, a Byopack or Jetpack, with no liquid flow you should try the following steps to resolve or diagnose the problem.
1: Check the electrical circuits
- Plug up or install the battery.
- Look in the clear widow on the bottom of the unit.
- There will be a GREEN light if the power connection is good.
- Turn on the unit using the main thumb button
- There should now be a GREEN and WHITE light in the window.
- Turn on the liquid pump using the trigger button
- There should now be a GREEN, WHITE, and BLUE light.
- If one is out, it indicates an issue in the electrical circuit of the system.
2: Check the Downtube assembly
- Disconnect the rubber tube from the cap assembly.
- Retrieve a little water in a small open container.
- Place the tip of the rubber tube in the water.
- Turn on the unit and initiate the sprayer.
- If the down tube is defective, fluid will start flowing.
- If fluid is not flowing proceed to step 3.
3: Prime/Purge the liquid system
- Retrieve a small syringe if you have one or a hand sprayer will work
- Pump liquid through the unit at the rubber liquid tube until some comes out the spray nozzle end.
- Try running the unit again.
- If no liquid goes into the system or pressure builds, check the inline liquid filter.
- If there is still no flow proceed to step 4.
4: Kinks or Internal Filter
- Open the wand connection door to check for kinks.
